Building & Earth Preparation
When you progress to solid objects, the margin shrinks.
Buildings and Earth objects demand precision. The stakes increase immediately. An off-heading opening can put you on a direct line back into the object you just left.
You cannot eliminate that possibility.
You can only prepare for it.
What This Course Is
B.E. Prepared focuses on the realities of slider-down jumping on B’s and E’s — the most technical category of objects.
If your canopy opens facing the wall, three things matter:
Your mental readiness
Your ability to act immediately
Your gear configuration
Mental readiness comes from visualization.
Execution comes from skill repetition.
Preparation comes from proper brake settings and system setup.
The goal of this program is simple:
To prepare you for the worst-case scenario — when it happens.
Because eventually, it will.
Being prepared is more than half the battle.
How We Train It
Preparation is a two-part process:
Simulate the situation as closely as possible
Practice the required response until it is automatic
There are several schools of thought on how to approach this. I will explain the methods, the tradeoffs, and the consequences — and you will decide what aligns with your progression.
At the end of the day, it’s your hands on the toggles.
