Resources for BASE Jumpers

After over a decade involved in BASE jumping, I’ve had the opportunity to learn from many experienced jumpers, mentors, and friends throughout the community. This section of the site is my effort to organize and share some of the information, ideas, and resources that have helped me along the way.

Everyone in BASE walks their own path and leaves their own mark. There are many people contributing valuable knowledge—through mentorship, training, videos, and written material—but there has never really been a single place that brings those resources together in one location.

My goal is for this page to help fill that gap.

Every year BASE jumping continues to grow as more people begin their journey into the activity. At the same time, many people eventually step away. Despite that growth, there is still relatively little publicly available information to help jumpers understand and navigate the risks involved.

BASE has no governing body, no formal regulations, and no universal training standards. Everyone is free to approach the activity in their own way. That freedom is one of the things that makes BASE special—but it can also lead to unnecessary mistakes when knowledge and experience are limited.

The goal of this page is simple:
to help people make better decisions by having access to better information.

I strongly believe in stacking the deck in your favor as much as possible. The resources below are things I believe can help jumpers better understand the equipment, skills, and mindset required to participate in this activity responsibly.

Nothing replaces good training, mentorship, and experience. But the more informed you are, the better prepared you can be.

Think of this section as a living document. As new resources become available, they will continue to be added here. For newer jumpers, I hope this helps shorten the learning curve. For experienced jumpers, I hope it provides deeper insight into certain aspects of the activity.

If you know of something that would be valuable to include here, feel free to reach out.
